Simulation of sparkles in metallic paints

چکیده
Metallic and pearlescent paints contain flakes and exhibit strong texture (spatial fluctuations of luminance) and sparkles (rare, extremely bright tiny points). We present an algorithm for calculating these texture and sparkles during image rendering.
